Even though you made one terrible decision, the decisions you following were great ones. Putting your son up for adoption was a great decision because not only were you able to see that raising him on your own or even with the help of your family and friends wasn’t the best idea but you were also able to see that he deserved to go to a family that could provide for him and love him. Choosing not to abort your baby was also a great decision because if you had decided to do so someone like Vanessa wouldn’t have been able to experience being a parent like she dreamed of and also deserved to experience.
I hope that this situation that you got yourself into taught you many things about life and having kids. Hopefully the next time you go through it you are older and more prepared/ready for it and you are either married or at least in a steady relationship with someone that you trust and can rely on.
